Senior Process Ethanol Engineer

Job summary: Lead process engineering activities at DDCE demonstration plant in Vonore, TN, with probable relocation in similar role to commercial facility in the Des Moines, IA, area.

Summary of essential job functions:

Engineering process support and resource to the daily operation and execution of the
experimental test plan in the production of cellulosic ethanol
Collaborate with DuPont, Danisco, and DDCE scientists and Engineering to develop basic data
for a commercial scale plant, including assistance in engineering design
Coordinate the execution of the experimental plan with Technology resources to optimize the
reliable performance of the process
Improve process operability and reliability by redesign of existing processes or equipment,
or improving existing ones
Technical resource support to operators and mechanics, including assistance in troubleshooting, problem solving, and training

Minimum Requirements:

Chemical Engineering degree

Experience Required:

10 or more years engineering plant experience in ethanol production and/or biochemical
processing operations
